The process
Four stages, with a clear decision at each one
We map your gum health
Your dentist checks for bleeding, records how far the gum has pulled back in places, and notes any looseness, so we know exactly what we're working with.
We clean below the gum line
Where it's needed, the root surfaces beneath the gum are cleaned with local anaesthetic where appropriate, sometimes spread across more than one visit depending on how much of your mouth is affected.
We check how you've responded
Once your gums have had time to heal, we measure again to see what's improved and agree on a maintenance plan that fits how you responded.
